"It uniquely blends interior design, architecture, art, engineering and furniture. Great for getting jobs!
Our brand of Spatial Design ...
... reflects the emerging connections in the practice of spatial design, crossing the boundaries of interiors, architecture, landscape, ethics, art, engineering, furniture and lighting schemes.
We challenge you to be innovative, develop new connections and possibilities between materials, structures, furniture, objects and their manufacturing processes.
Our projects are run with 'Life' client project briefs, with advice and scrutineering from outside professionals.
And we have fun doing it!
Furniture & Interiors is:
CONTEMPORARY
CONNECTED
CREATIVE
You are taught in a vibrant Open Studio environment to develop creative thinking to find the best aesthetic and functional characteristics of a scheme.
Becoming a Spatial Designer
We teach you skills to develop and create innovative, practical and contemporary spaces.
You learn this through gaining a hands-on understanding of material, processes, construction and model making methods.
By developing your own robust ideaology, you can gain confidence to develop ground breaking concepts, backed by high levels of CAD visualisation skills.
Graduates from our course are working at major design consultancies, as in-house designers, doing teacher training and postgraduate research.
